Who’s afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? A celebration of female songwriters
“If you like high quality, memorable music, superbly performed, with a clever and informative narrative, then you will love this unique cabaret production.” Broadway World
Who’s afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? premiered at the Adelaide Fringe, Australia in Feb/Mar 2014 and received five star reviews. It originally looked at the life of Granny through the eyes of (a not so little) Red. The show’s creatives decided to re-write the script and now the focus is on Granny and her tales of life in the Woods, her relationship with Little Red and some of the Big Bad Wolves that have crossed her path. Another important inclusion in the show is the character of The Wolf in the presence of guitarist/vocalist Jamie Moore.
This fine example of narrative cabaret celebrates not only female songwriters but life experience. The central character is an empowering, positive, mature women who proves that anyone can over come life’s hurdles, re-invent themselves and be a force to be reckoned with – all in 1 hour and 10 minutes!
