As part of The Mosaic Cat Festival 2012, Graeme Davis and Jamie Moore wrote Act One of a two Act musical that was presented as a cabaret piece. As Marlene Dietrich in the show I sung “Alfie”. The song follows a scene in which Marlene has just left a tryst with John F Kennedy in The White House. In the background are Kennedy family visuals. Musical arrangement and accompaniment by Graeme Davis.
White Grass was composed and written by Australian,Charles Marawood. Performed by Marlene Dietrich in 1968.In the process of researching for Back to Back, Graeme Davies found a clip of the Melbourne concert that featured this song and I fell in love with it.
